We here at The Perfect Horse Search are devoted to assisting you in finding your dream horse. We will do the footwork for you, saving you both time and money. We are offering a locator service, using literally hundreds of public databases and some not-so-public ones to find a horse for you –the perfect horse that meets your specifications.
Once we have received your search parameters we will immediately begin searching our data bases to find a match. When we have done so, we will contact the seller(s) and owner(s), to attempt to verify as much information as possible for you. After sorting through the results, we will submit to you what we feel are the best matches for you.
We will keep your search active until one of the following provisions
is met:
a) a two-week period has passed since the time you submitted your request
b) we are able to provide you with 5 solid leads matching a majority of your
search parameters
Please keep in mind that the stricter the search parameters you provide us with, the fewer horses we will be able to locate for you.
If you have a parameter that is a strong preference, but not a necessity (e.g. color), please inform us of this on your search form. We will always try to match all of your parameters, but this leeway will allow us to return more results to you. And please keep your requests realistic: realize that we will not be able to find a 4 year old black and white tovero reining champion for $600.
We encourage you to submit requests as many times as you like –remember, this is a free service until you are able to find your perfect horse! If you pursue a lead we have given you and actually make a purchase, we ask for a 5% commission fee. This will be 5% of the final purchase price that you have agreed to with the owner. Keep in mind that this is in addition to what you will be paying the owner. We are working as an agent for you, not the owner.
Our goal is not to make a profit, but to provide a useful and easy service for you! Our 5% commission fee is very reasonable when compared to other popular advertising and locator sites. In addition, for horses purchased under $1,000 (USD), we only ask for $20 commission (that’s only 2%).
The Perfect Horse Search will make all efforts to verify the information provided by the seller(s), but is not responsible for the serviceability, suitability, soundness, price, and/or registration of the horse(s), and subsequently, makes no guarantees on such. You, as the purchaser, are fully responsible for checking out the horse(s) for yourself.
